Le Miniature:

bambole “speciali”

Grazie alle approfondite ricerche su documenti originali si è scoperto che nel Rinascimento le cosiddette “Pupe” ( Bambole ) venivano realizzate per poter diffondere la moda da una Corte all’altra.

Isabella d’Este Gonzaga a Mantova intensificò l’utilizzo di tale singolare mezzo.

Esistono lettere originali d’archivio con le richieste di varie Principesse delle Corti Italiane ed Europee per conoscere quale fosse lo stile italiano degli abiti femminili per poterlo imitare.

Isabella ( definita allora la Prima Donna del Rinascimento ) rispondeva a queste richieste inviando le “ Pupe” abbigliate con tessuti e forme identiche a quelle dei suoi vestiti.

Queste “Pupe” furono quindi la prima “Rivista di Moda” della storia.

La Linea “Principesse del Rinascimento"

Questa linea di Miniature-Bambole è stata ideata e realizzata grazie alle conoscenze acquisite con le ricerche storiche ed alla collaborazione di esperti tessitori e sarti.

Caratteristiche

Ogni Miniatura-Bambola ha le seguenti caratteristiche:

·         Realizzata in ceramica bisquit

·         Forma del corpo che riproduce esattamente quella delle antiche “Pupe” (senza gambe ma con un cono al loro posto che sostiene l'intera struttura, braccia mobili e corpo rigido: altezza tot. cm.50)

·         Dipinta a mano

·         Abito ispirato alle tipiche fogge del Rinascimento (tessuto facente parte della collezione realizzata in esclusiva per “King Studio”)

La tua “Principessa del Rinascimento”

Le “Principesse” vengono realizzate su ordinazione.

Una volta cofermato l’ordine, si può scegliere uno dei tessuti della collezione con il quale far realizzare il proprio abito.

La Miniatura (numerata) verrà poi spedita con certificato di originalità.

Queste Miniature nascono del progetto espositivo "La Trama e l'Oro" che vuole proporre un modo nuovo di parlare della Storia, della Cultura e dell’Arte, valorizzando quegli aspetti ( tessuti ed abiti ) che sino ad oggi non sono stati studiati a fondo.

Dopo un’approfondita ricerca storica si è riusciti a ricostruire a telaio i tessuti che compaiono nei più famosi dipinti del Rinascimento per poi ricreare i sontuosi abiti da cerimonia dei Principi del passato e riproporli in apposite mostre in Musei, Università e Sedi Espositive.

Princesses are part of our numbered and limited collection series.

Ceramic models finisched by hand with same characteristics of the "Pupe" or dolls of Renaissance period. The Princesses are dressed with  noble woven reconstructed from ancient paintings.

The Miniatures:

“special” dolls

Thanks to deep researches on original documents it was discovered that, in the Renaissance, the "Pupe" (ancient word for dools) were usefull for the difusion of the fashion between Courts.

Isabella d’Este Gonzaga, Duchess of Mantova, intensified the use of this singular way of comunication.

In Her archives there are some original letters of various italian and european Princesses asking for information about fashion style for female dresses.

Isabella (the First Woman of the Renaissance) answered sending the "Pupe" dressed by costumes made by similar fabrics and shapes in comparison the ones' she wore.

So, these "Pupe" were the first "Fashion Review" of the history.

The Serie “Princesses of Rinaissance“

This production of Miniature-Dolls has been conceived and realized after a deep historical research and thanks to the special job of expert wavers and tailors.

Characteristics

Every Miniatura-Doll has the following characteristics:

·         Realized in ceramics bisquit

·        Shape of the body reproduces exactly the one of ancient "Pupe" (a cone that supports the whole structure, a rigid body with movible arms; total height cm. 50 - inch 19.7)

·         Painted by hand

·         Dress insipired from the noble ones in the  Renaissance period (wovens are part of the collection of special fabrics exclusively realized for "King Studio”)

Your “Princess of Rinaissance”

The "Princesses" are realized only upon request.

When the order is confirmed, You can choose one of our special fabrics for Your own "Princess".

The Miniature (numbered) will be sent with Her Certificate of Originality.

These Miniatures are part of the exhibition project "Treath and Gold" born to speak about History, Culture and Art in a new way, valuing those aspects (woven and dresses) that usually are not the target of reserch.

After a deep historical reserch, King Studio reconstructed by telar the fabrics that appear in the most famous Renaissance paintings, in order to recreate the magnificent ceremony dresses of the ancient nobility.

These handcrafted masterpieces are presented in special set up in Museums, University and Exhibition Centers.

Questa Miniatura è un pezzo unico e fa parte dell’Esposizione “ Lo Splendore del Rinascimento” che da tre anni viene presentata in varie città di diversi Paesi del mondo (vedi sito www.kingstudio.it, sezione Lo Splendore del Rinascimento)

Dal lavoro complicatissimo e preziosissimo di ricostruzione di questa Miniatura da Museo nasce la linea delle “Principesse del Rinascimento” .

This Miniature is a unique prototype and is part of the Exhibition "Splendour of the Renaissance" that since three years it’s setting up in several cities of various Countries around the World (see www.kingstudio.it, section Splendour of the Renaissance)

From this complicated and precious job of reconstruction the series "Princesses of Renaissance" was born.
